레미는 부기우기 세계 챔피언의 커리어를 뒤로하고 린디합씬으로 넘어와 현재 세계적인 댄서로 또한, 열정적인 강사로 활약하고 있습니다. 레미는 린디합의 오리지널리티를 존중하면서도, 춤과 음악에 있어서 솔직하고, 자신의 스타일을 찾아가는것을 무엇보다 중요하게 생각합니다. 춤에 있어서의 그의 솔직한 생각과 철학은 많은 댄서들에게도 영감이되고, 스윙씬이 좀더 창의적인 방향으로 나아갈수 있도록 에너지를 불어넣습니다.

그는 솔로/린디에 있어서 다양한 파트너 쉽과 콜라보레이션을 통해서 엄청난 성장을 하고 또 많은 댄서들에게 긍정적인 자극제가 됩니다. 스윙 리바이벌의 주역인 레전드 Ryan Francois, 린디합의 아이콘이라 할 수 있는 Skye,  호형호제 이태리 감성 Vince 그리고 Jazz at Four/Six 를 통해서 Silver shadows의 멤버들과 다양한 재즈 콜라보레이션을 펼쳐갑니다. 뿐만아니라 Ramona, Alice, Laura 등 최고의 팔로워들과 호흡을 함께하며, 모든 챔피언 댄서들이 콜라보레이션을 하고싶어하는 댄서로 1순위로 뽑는 최고의 댄서로 자리잡고 있습니다.

레미는 한국에서 AJW에 처음 소개된 이후 대체가 불가 강사로서 활약하였고 또한, 동료 챔피언 댄서들을 이끌며 리더쉽을 발휘했으며, 세계 최대의 린디합 이벤트인 ILHC의 Organizer이기도 합니다.

Remy is an established competitor, performer and teacher. He made the transition from world champion boogie woogie dancer (with accolades from the French and the World Championships) to convert to lindy hop, to a starring role in the viral music video “Two Cousins” with Ryan Francois.

Remy has also taught many students for many years, travelling to many international camps and festivals, sharing his passion and knowledge. Especially in Korea, He had taught at Authentic Jazz Weekend for many years and also SEOUL lindyfest. His amazing energy in class / stage / social floor… it’s unchangeable.

In recent years, Remy felt the urge to (re)align with himself and connect all of the aspects that makes him the artist he is. Remy believes that a bridge has to be reinforced – if not (re)created – between the vintage and the modern Street dances.

His classes are a reflection of what this magical journey has brought to him : rhythm, music, connection… and tons of groove!!! What he likes to share the most is the joy that dancing provides. For him, dancing is… to live… to express!
